God has been calling us since the time we were born. Even before we were born, He knew us and has been knocking at the door with our calling.
Jeremiah 1:5 NLT
I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.
God has tried DM’ing you, Facetiming you, pinging you, calling you, texting you, and He has even tried knocking on your front door.
When are you going to answer Him? When are you going to be willing to do the work of God? When are you going to open the door to His knock?
There is a purpose and a call upon your life, but you haven’t seen it yet because you haven’t gone near your phone.
Some of you know that, the Lord is calling you into a great ministry, but you are deliberately putting your phone on do not disturb so that you can live in your sin and serve God later.
That’s not how it works.
Jesus is a gentleman as well. He won’t force you to tap into your calling. If He sees that you’re still leaving your phone on do not disturb, He’ll hang up and call the next person.
That’s why this year as we have all been called to get revived, we can’t deny the call.
God is about to do something mighty, and we would regret it later that we weren’t a part of the move of God.
When do we usually turn off do not disturb?
When we want to start receiving calls and notifications again. In other words, when there’s a desire or surrender to see what’s being sent to you.
A desire to do God’s work will cause you to function in it.
James 4:8a NKJV
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
It’s time to pick up the phone and run to the location God is calling you to be at. There can’t be procrastination any longer. When Jesus is calling, He shouldn’t have to see “User Busy” again.
The time is now.
We can’t keep saying “later,” because, truthfully, who knows what tomorrow will bring?
We need to stop stalling and trust God that once we accept the call, He’ll guide us on the right path.
Jeremiah 1:6-8 NLT
O Sovereign Lord, I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” The Lord replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
There are no excuses for doing His work. No age is too young for God. No situation is too difficult for God to breakthrough. No sin is too deep for God to not redeem you and use you for His Glory!
If Saul the Persecutor can turn into Paul the Apostle, there are no limits for you!
It’s time to surrender it all to God! Please, no more DELAY!
There’s this NBA player and he goes by the name of Bruno Caboclo. He was drafted in 2014 and was selected with the 20th pick by The Toronto Raptors. There was so much hype about him that his nickname was, “The Brazilian Kevin Durant”.
But the thing that many scouts and reporters said is that, he was “two years away from being two years away.” To this day, he hasn’t become that Kevin Durant-type player.
Don’t let this be you when it comes to becoming revived or being used in The Body of Christ.
You aren’t two years away from being two years away.
You have the power to make an impact right now! But, that’s if you really want it. If you do, you’ll be willing to truly surrender and sacrifice.
Isaiah 6:8 NLT
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, Here am I! Send me.
God has been wanting to release His revival Power, but He hasn’t found anyone that wants it that bad!
We have to seriously ask ourselves… do we really want Him to change us or are we changing for the clout? Do we hear everyone talking about revival so we’re just following the trend, or do we really want to bind and loose to destroy the kingdom of hell and cause The Kingdom of God to come down?
1 Corinthians 4:20 NLT
For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.
Too many want to watch and talk about this revival and what it’s going to do for the global church as a whole when THEY have been called to be vessels for it.
Pick up the phone… because Jesus is calling you as for this revival!
We need to become displeased with our current state, so God can restore us. We must acknowledge that our love, zeal, joy, and persistence for God is not how it was before.
For God can only revive what is gone, lost, destroyed, or dead.
When we come to that point of vulnerability with God, that is when we can plead for revival.
Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you?
But if we see nothing wrong with being drunk all the time, if we see nothing wrong with sending nude pictures, if we see nothing wrong with always being jealous and bitter, if we see nothing wrong with witchcraft being on a rise, if we see nothing wrong with no signs and wonders taking place in our churches and the land, then…
“what’s the point of the restoration or revival?”
We must surrender so that God can use us. We have to humble ourselves before God and let Him take away whatever displeases Him. The problem is that we want the good things of God without surrender.
Psalms 139:23-24 NLT
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
You want God to increase your ministry, but are you willing to surrender your social media to ONLY produce and push Kingdom content? You want God to revive your household, but are you willing to surrender your sleep to meet Him in the secret place?
God wants to use you, but do you truly want to surrender your deliberate sin and your worldly desires?
Answer His call.
You will notice that your life in His righteousness and calling is better than the lukewarm lifestyle.
Surrender your will. Surrender your plans. Surrender your fame. Surrender your fear. Surrender your followers. Surrender your money. Surrender your relationship. Surrender your ministry. Surrender your sin.
Come to God submissive and you will leave supplied!
Give it all to Him so that you will experience His Power. Revival is right there, but we must let go of every hindrance that keeps us bound.
Revival isn’t in our speech but in our surrender.
Surrender it all, for now, is the time to move forward!
