If destiny is Heaven’s expectation of you, then the greatest expectation Heaven longs for you to fulfill, is worship.

Representing God? It’s great.
Winning in life? Great.
Rising in life? Double great.
Being a voice? Even greater.
But, there is no greater demand that hangs upon the destinies of men and women than to worship.
Worship, as we have heard time and time again…is way more than a song.
It’s more than clapping your hands..
It’s more than stomping your feet..
It’s more than singing on a stage..
It’s more than singing at all..
It’s a lifestyle.
And, your journey to fulfilling destiny, cannot be accomplished unless your lifestyle is one of constant true worship.
Your life must eat, sleep, and breathe worship to God.
You see…
Worship by definition, is simply, reverence, the extravagant respect, admiration, and or devotion to an object or divine being.
And, the divine being you and I have been called to serve for the rest of our days is none other than our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
You and I have been called to live a life, whereby all that we do, all that we say, and all that we think, is offered through the heart posture and sacrifice of worship unto this great King.
When we’re talking on the phone, our aim should be to reverence God.
When we’re completing a task at work, He watches to see if we will do it in fear of Him.
When we post to our social media pages, our one desire should be to bring the glory to Him and to Him alone.
Like I said…
Worship is more than a song on your lips or a good ol’ Sunday church service.
Worship is your consistent effort in devotion, obedience, surrender, acknowledgement, and reverence to God daily!
Let me put it this way…
The fulfilment of your destiny is connected to God’s remarkable presence.
It’s connected to your intentional decision to live in Him, with Him, and through Him as you travel along the different roads of life!
In other words, very simply, the fulfillment of your destiny is connected to worship!
To choose not to worship, is a choice not to fulfill destiny!
Yikes, right? I know.
You’ve probably read this scripture a million times, but I want you to take it in again…
Romans 12:1 (TPT) says,
“Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.”
Hmm…
So, what was the writer saying here?
Well…
To offer up our bodies, is to offer up our LIVES.
To offer up our lives is to enact a true form of WORSHIP unto God.
And to enact a true form of WORSHIP unto to God, is to FULFILL your destiny and one day spend eternity with Him!
This is Heaven’s expectation for you and me!
That we would daily be the burnt offering, that we would become the sacrifice, that we would be a sweet-smelling perfume.
I know you want to live life to the fullest and be all that God has called you to be…
Trust me, I do too!
But, how connected are you to God’s presence?
How much do you long to stay connected to Him in all that you think, do and say?
Can God truly say, you are the kind of worshipper He wants?
Or, are you the kind of worshipper you want?

Remember,
The Word says in John 4:23-24 that,
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
Wow, you know…
It’s so easy to read this scripture all the time and not realize that God actually has categorized the kind of worshipper He wants.
And, the kind of worshipper He wants is a TRUE one!
Not a FALSE one, a true one.
Not a fake one, a REAL one.
A man once said, “to thine own self be true,”
But, I say…”to your God be even truer!”
You see…
If every word, thought, action, and deed is to be a sacrifice of worship unto God,
Then we must know that God is 24/7, 365 checking the state of our hearts.
He is always checking the pulse of its posture, its intent, its desires, and its motives towards ourselves, others, and Him!
He is always checking to see if the lifestyle of worship we claim to live, is TRUE.

David said it best,
In Psalm 51:17,
“that the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God will not despise.”
Friend…
God doesn’t want the things that make you look like you worship,
He wants the very thing that makes you a worshipper.
And that is your heart.
There is no better sacrifice of worship to give than your heart.
The fulfilment of your destiny hinges on your ability to daily lay down your heart before God.
In truth and Spirit.
I want you to represent.
I want you to win.
I want you to rise.
I want you to be a voice.
But, I want you to worship God even more.
You’re destined to worship.
I’m destined to worship.
Let’s be the kind of worshipper God wants together.
