“If you have not chosen the Kingdom of God first, it will in the end make no difference what you have chosen instead.” – William Law
When tackling the subject of destiny it can often be a daunting task to deconstruct because, truthfully, there are many dimensions to this one word that similarly has an affect on every single human being that exists and has existed on earth.
To keep things a bit more layman and comprehensible for everyone, what I want you to keep at the forefront of your mind, as we go through this series, is that…
Destiny, very simply, is heaven’s expectation of you.

In other words…
There is a written script, a drawn blueprint, and a recorded book concerning the intricate details of your earthly destiny and it is up to you—with God’s help—to live out all that God has said concerning you.
You see friend,
God intentionally designed your life with a plan and with a purpose. He knows all that you currently are and all that has been documented for you to become.
Never in your life think or believe, that you were created to be void of details and intentionality! There are very finite elements to your personality, deliberate decisions to your physical makeup, calculated choices to your strengths and weaknesses, and measured thoughts to your passions and drives.
You were not created thoughtlessly, but very thoughtfully. And, God saw it fit to create you uniquely for the unique destination He so much desires for you to go.
You see, your destiny is not merely tied to a career, an academic title, an influencer status, a business or even marriage. It’s bigger than that. It’s bigger than YOU.
Your destiny is your DESTINATION.
God has designed our lives in such a way whereby the time we have reached the end of our days, our feet should have touched a territory of fulfilment to the assignment, call and ultimate mission upon our lives.
It is at this destination where we should be able to see more than a career, academic title, status, business, or marriage.
This viewpoint should render to us the sight of all that we accomplished, birthed, created, executed, were used for, impacted, lost, won, overcame, voiced, challenged, and eventually became for the sole purpose of advancing the heavenly kingdom agenda—which is to save the lost and dying world from eternal death.
Wow!
Sounds like a lot, right?
But, if we are really attempting to understand destiny…
Then we must recognize that at its core, we have been destined to live a life fully in Christ, for Christ, completing the mission He gave us when we became born again.
In short, you and I have been DESTINED TO REPRESENT.
Take this in, Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV)
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [a]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Before you can truly understand that you have been destined to represent God and His kingdom, you need to consider that there was an initial purpose, plan, projection and proposal for humanity before man fell.
When you really take in this scripture, you can see that God had a good and perfect plan. He saw it as good, flawless, faultless and complete.
But, man sinned and fell as many of us know it.
It’s the fall of man that triggered what I like to call a DESTINY SHIFT for all humanity. Now we are no longer purposed to simply have dominion, be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it, we are PURPOSED TO REPRESENT!
DESTINED TO REPRESENT!
The reason for why we were created has been altered and tweaked to fit God’s now agenda for mankind!
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (NKJV) says,
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [a]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

In short, Jesus paid the penalty of death so that we could be reconciled back to God. And, he didn’t just pay the penalty of death so that we could be reconciled…
But, he paid this price so that we could become the righteousness of God and stand as AMBASSADORS for Him.
We are NEW CREATURES with a NEW MISSION.
The day you pledged to give your life to Christ, was also the day you pledged to become his ambassador.
An ambassador is one who has been sent out to represent a group, people, brand or organization.
I’m sure there are many brands, organizations, and people, you are committed to representing.
In the same way you stand for these various groups is the same way in which now you have been EMPLOYED by HEAVEN to stand and represent JESUS CHRIST AND THE KINGDOM AGENDA.
And…
Standing for Christ, means standing for the things He stands for…
That means holiness, purity, righteousness, love, justice, service, peace, (and the list goes on and on)
Standing for his Kingdom, means standing for souls, evangelism, the Word of God (and the list goes on and on)
This is heaven’s expectation of you. This is what looms at the forefront of your destiny and my destiny.
You and I have not been destined to represent the world and its culture. But, we have been called to put God on in everything we do and everywhere we go!
Being an ambassador is an honor!
And, it is due time we arise and take up the mantle to represent Christ in these last days!
Will you stand with me?
Will you arise as one of his very best representatives?
God is watching you and I and he is numbering down our days.
Let’s wake up, rise up, and make the remainder of our destined days count.
Love this!
Glory to God. Thanks for reading Whitney!
This is just on point!
